For Your Enjoyment

Well here you all go! But mostly for my momma, love you mom.
We will have some other wonderful photos soon of me all prego and the baby from my wonderful wonderful friend Laura, she is so talented and I can't wait to see what she caught, but for now we can all enjoy what Ky Ky got.

I Just Love This Kid

Man I just love Kacer-roo. He is doing some really cute things lately. Well not the weird scream he now does or the whinning, which I will take over the tantrums any day. Here is what he did with a lot of his free-time today.

Lined them up into different positions and drove them down his track.

Other cute things he does:
Will stand in the window sill and yell "Buzz Buzz and beyond." (he can't quite say "to infinity" Then jump into the chair or onto the floor.

Will sing the clean up song every time he goes to pick up toys and sometimes he will begin cleaning up on his own.

He loves to say "hi" to everyone even multiple times.

And he started to learn manipulation by cuteness, for instance, at night he says "mom" and makes kisses to signify that he wants more kisses and hugs. I am way too hooked on this kid and I am so nervous about the new adjustment coming up but think he will be a good big brother. He is such a cutie and so nice with other kids. He is just a little (or a lot) spoiled, haha, but he will still get spoiled and loved on.

Oh Kids

Well we are nearly ready for this little girly.
Crib painted and assembled
Car seat ready.
Newborn outfits bought.
Nursing bras found.
Sister coming to help coach me. Check Check Check!

Yep my sister K'Leena will be here when I have my baby and I am so so excited, it has been nearly two years since we have seen each other, I cannot wait.

The only thing we aren't quite ready for....naming her! But hopefully we come up with something soon. And I want to make a couple head bands, and find a robe for myself and I think that is about it.
With all our focus on the new one poor Kacen has been neglected and forced to wear shopping bags. Haha we are only kidding. He has not been neglected. We often go to the park and play in the creek and he gets wet; after one occasion Ky jokingly put Kace in a shopping bag to get him home dry. But Kacen did not like it and took it off right away.
My mom came to visit on her way up to Maine, there are some pictures but they are only on her camera, ugh. But she got to spend all Sunday with us and it was so nice to be with her, ahhh I love my family! She brought Kacen some more trains and Kyle had a good ole time setting it all up and Kacen has had fun playing with it. He loves his new "choo choos." And she made (with the help of my sister Micah and niece Savannah) those cute blankets in the crib pictures, thank you.
We got to spend FIVE days with Ky home this weekend and it was so nice, but now he works for eight nights! Four twelves in a row then some eights and some more twelves, it is gonna be nuts. And we will miss him tons. But after these eight days we get to have him home for TWO WEEKS!
Tonight we are having a huge storm and when the first thunder went off Kacen asked "You Scared?" and then I told him no and he said, "It's ok, you ok," and hugged me. He is so cute with his new words and phrases. I love him so much and just pray with all my heart that he adjusts well to the baby. I can't believe it is only a couple more weeks until I am a mom of two, this is gonna be fun (by fun I mean exhausting, scary, crazy and fun).

Also I am so addicted to the Biggest Loser. I want to eat more healthy and can't wait til I can exercise even more. Tonight I made wheat, oat and flax flat bread with falafal and fresh veggies, it was so good, and so healthy, and for desert fresh watermelon. That makes up for the chips and cookies I ate earlier, right? haha.

What We've Been Up To

Last Saturday the Raleigh's hosted a huge graduation party for Maddi and her friend Makayla I made the signs, can you tell what is wrong? Because I totally didn't I just kept thinking "Why do the "A's" all look so dumb?"
It was the hottest day of the year so far. They set up a long slip and slide for the kids.

And put a mister up in the tree, I look like I'm having so much fun huh?
Kacen loved playing with friends and eating ridiculous amounts of junk food. This BBQ made him realize that he loves hotdogs.

Oh yeah ignore the awkwardness of the next photos, I was dumping water on myself to keep cool and it sort of looks weird.

Last Sunday we went for a family walk in Hershey, and I realized that for living here for nearly two years we don't have hardly any pictures of Kacen with his Nana and Papa, how tragic. So now we really need to make up for lost time.
Kacen and I spent one especially hot morning at the local park playing in the creek, he played really well by himself, giving me some much needed rest, for about an hour just picking up rocks and driving his cars in the water.

We went shopping today and for some reason I picked up this shirt thinking it would look good on my prego belly, yeah I think I look like a train wreck! I actually laughed out loud alone in my stall because it was so funny.
But we did buy two newborn outfits, surprisingly we didn't get any newborn clothes so we had to go out and get some. Of course we have pleanty of the generic newborn onsies from Kace but I wanted one or two cute things to snap photos in the first couple of days. Can you guess which one Ky picked and which one I picked?

Our summer days often look like this mid-afternoon, Kacen passed out with his snack all over his face.
Well that is pretty much it. Honestly we spend a ton of time watching tv and eating popcicles because I can only go out once a day before I become too exhaused, hot and impatient with my buddy. I am very excited for this little babe to come for the adjusment period to be over and hopeful recoup some energy.

Things I Love Lately

Things I love lately
Well not only lately but always, I freaking love my family, not only the people I am about to mention, but all of them!

My sister-in-law, Liz, just sent this surprise package, so cute right?
Little peas in a pod for Kace, there were four balls but we already misplaced one, ugh hopefully it will turn up again :) Don't worry we found it.
And she made this adorable mobile for the baby! She is so talented, I love it!

My sister K'Leena also has a wonderful package coming for me with some great books I can't wait to get my hands on to help me through this labor/delivery.

(ok so I got the package and it was re-packaged in Philadelphia and I got some weird sci-fi novel from a library in Arabia and one of three pregnancy books. Seriously who when they see four or five mixed up books grabs the Arabian book and the birthing book and throws them into an envelope together? They didn't watch enough Sesame Street, "One of these things is not like the other.")

My mom and dad will be passing through PA on their move from Georgia to Maine and I am so excited I get to see them in only three days.

Oh and some great news, hopefully they don't mind if I share this, my sis K'Leena is moving from Utah to Connecticut, only six hours away! And in only two weeks, I seriously can not wait!

I also love my friends! I was able to have a nice lunch organized by the wonderful Christie, out to an awesome Indian restaurant to celebrate my b-day. As I left I told Valarie, "I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful people to associate with!" I really am so lucky to have such great friends.

I got myself a food processor for my birthday! I am so excited to use it for lots of new things. I already made some applesauce, carrot, pineapple and orange popsicles using it, and some pie crust.

I love this book!

Confessions

My husband wears shirts like this
And yesterday he ran into a bird with our car, it was so sad. I made him turn around and run over it again to make sure it was out of it's misery. He felt terrible, but we feel much better now that this off our chests.

The only shorts I have that fit have to be worn without the top button done.

I had a major breakdown attempting to get $1 flipflops at Old Navy. Kacen flipped and I totally flopped. I dropped the sandals and left the store. Poor guy he really isn't so bad it is mostly my lack of patience with him.

I seriously looked into having my child at a hippie commune in Tennessee.
Ok it is not really a hippie commune but they do call the birthing center "The Farm"
Don't worry she will be born in a safe hospital environment instead.

Our child is still nameless, her crib is still not assembled, we haven't even worked on the rocker in over a month and all of her clothes are in a giant heap in our room. Yeah I feel real prepared.
